Today I have awoken and realised that I am in control of my life, every decision I make does make a difference to my life. No matter how small we perceive that decision to be ultimately all of the small decisions we make everyday affect the bigger picture.
Pretty heavy first paragraph for my first blog post lol, ahhh well I do promise to lighten up a tad as we get to know each other.
I guess a short introduction may be a good start. Hey blogosphere I am Tammy, I am a 37 year old mum of 4, 2 boys, 2 girls, recently separated, met my soul mate who is FIFO, I recently moved into a gorgeous (if slightly run down) 4 bed house on the Central Coast of NSW, I love scrapbooking, playing with paper, photos and paint, interior decorating, pintrest, anything crafty, cooking with my kids, thinking about exercising and basically trying to work out this crazy thing we call life.
I plan to use the blog to document our house transformation into a home, to share my crafty pursuits (and all the failures along the way), to share all of the pinspiration I find on pintrest, to try all those recipes, craft activities, decorating tips and tricks you see all over the web and think ooohhhh I must give that a go. Well I will be planning on tackling plenty of them. I will also be changing my family from a very consumer driven motley crew into a more harmonious, self sustaining family, so join me in creating a vegetable garden, compost heap and maybe even investing in a few chickens (eekk).
I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I know I will.
